Skiing in Sainte Foy

Skiing in Sainte Foy Tarentaise

The pistes in Sainte Foy are exceptionally quiet, with barely a hint of a lift queue, even in busier weeks, meaning it is an excellent resort for children and beginners. The central location of Sainte Foy and the excellent snow conditions due to the north-west facing slopes give guests access to some of the best skiing the world has to offer. With the resort at a height of 1550m and the top lifted point at 2620m, there is almost 1000 vertical metres of pistes and powder to be explored. Served by four chairlifts and with three nursery slopes, there is something for everyone in this charming resort. For these reasons Sainte Foy is referred to as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the French Alps.

For guests wishing to take an explorative day trip locally, Sainte Foy is just twenty minutes drive from the world-renowned resorts of Val d’Isère and Tignes where there is a vast choice of ski slopes, parks and off-piste. A short funicular ride from Bourg Saint Maurice opens up another huge ski area, Les Arcs. Or for a taste of skiing in another country, guests can ski over to Italy through the picturesque resort of La Rosière, which is only 25 minutes by road from Sainte Foy.
